I’m a fulltime digital artist/illustrator who’s been working in the industry for more than 8 years.
I started out my art career in Australia, and now live in Japan while freelancing with international clients and studios.
Alongside freelance, I’ve been mentoring fellow artists for +3 years, teaching them how to elevate their art skills so that they can create beautiful art and be able to work as an artist.

It’s no secret that perspective is a very technical subject matter. While 3D programs and tools has made it so much easier for us to create scenes in perspective, that’s all they are - they’re tools.
Here’s the truth: you cannot cheat understanding perspective.
If we don’t know WHY we use these tools and HOW they help us, they end up being useless. To be able to use them properly and effectively, understanding the foundation is key. This is where perspective comes in. ✨
While studying perspective was helpful, I wish I had learnt it in a fun environment and knew which essentials were actually going to be useful for me.

Week 1
Perspective Basics + One Point
An Intro to Perspective, where we start from the ground up and cover the basics and explore One Point.
You start your creative project here and get prepared to set yourself up for success.
Week 2
Two Point Perspective
We dive deeper into perspective, learn about Two Point and more practical perspective exercises.
You will also be refining up your sketch designs for your creative project.
Week 3: LIVE CLASS
Environment Studies
Live Class! 🎉You get to join a live class with me and watch me demo how I study environments and break down their perspective from beginning to end.
This is also the chance you can ask any questions about perspective or about areas that you’re struggling with.
Week 4
Three Point
We get deeper into more practical perspective exercises and explore Three Point step by step. You will also be refining your pieces for your creative project even more here.

Week 5
Curves in Perspective
We learn about more advanced perspective exercises that will be useful for drawing curved forms. This week will have less exercises due to them being more time-consuming.
You’ll also be continuing work on your creative project.
Week 6: LIVE CLASS
Critique + Feedback
Live Class! Critique + Feedback Time✨
You get to join a live class with me for a chance to get critique and feedback over your work, particularly for your Creative Project. You can get feedback on any areas about perspective that you’re struggling with to get guidance.
Week 7
Perspective Power
We finish the course off with some fireworks! We look at some essential perspective theories to take with you beyond the course and steps to continue on with in your art practice.
This is the last week you have to work on your creative project before they are due.
Week 8: LIVE CLASS
Portfolio Workshop
Live Class! 🎆 It’s going to be a party to celebrate all the hard work you did during the last 8 weeks.
For any artist enrolled in the course, you get the chance to submit your final creative project to get critique and feedback, and guidance on what steps to take after the course.
Note: Live Classes only run during Live Rounds. Outside of live rounds, recordings of each class are available.

Yes! We start from the ground up and take it from the beginning. You’ll be guided from the core basics and important elements all the way through to the advanced techniques and theories.
As long as you have the passion to draw and you’re prepared to do the practice, you’re going to feel right at home here.

While this course does progress to covering some advanced techniques in the later weeks, it’s more catered to artists who want to break into perspective.
This course is for aspiring environment artists that want the essential skills to create backgrounds, worlds and environments in the entertainment industry.
If you are an artist that wants a refresher on perspective and wants to create an environment portfolio, this course is suitable for you.
This course is not for you if you are wanting to become an industrial designer or a product designer, as mastering high-level perspective skills is necessary for that career path.

Yes! When you join at the Self-Study Tier, you can access to joining the live class on Zoom. And for every future live term, you also get access to join in the live.

Any digital art/drawing program is totally suitable however you also can do this course traditionally pen on paper. The Prep Week’s exercises are encouraged to be done pen on paper.
